My game has more activities for toddlers and for kids (including trampolines) thanks to the CC community but I shouldn't have to feel like I'm missing out if I'm not using CC, these things should be in the game.1.

I find for every other aspect in the sims I could happily build without CC if needed (my upset over lack of clutter items aside) but I find it much harder to really enjoy creating kids/toddlers rooms and gardens/play parks without CC.

Considering we have parenthood, toddler stuff and kids room stuff (and actually a backyard stuff pack that had water slides which is nice but trampolines should have been there too) all as separate paid for DLC we should have much more. Playthings in general just need to be more. Like keep the huge observatory telescope but also give us the option to use a simple little one, we've had them before. But most of the time it's just impractical and I think I'd be a lot less upset over them if we had a smaller option also available. I do kinda like the oversized items at times, I like that quirky side of the sims.

Or how about the dollhouses that are the size of a double bed, and that block access to things on opposing walls if you size them down enough to look normal?Īnd don't let me get started on all the rugs that are larger than any single room I've ever built in the game in all my years of playing. We shouldn't have to pay for DLC just to get a sized-down version of the oversized monstrosities that are currently in the game!)Īnd then there's the fact that any Sim who wants to be a musician needs to make room for a grand piano (unless you have City Living, which includes an electric keyboard) because nobody thought we'd need a smaller, upright one and Sims must max out the piano skill to reach that top of that career branch.

(When they suggested portable telescopes and table-top microscopes as possible feature items for the last fan-voted stuff pack, I was outraged. But we should have regular ones as well so that our normal Sims and apartment dwellers can do STEM stuff too. Like, the ride-on microscope and walk-in telescope/observatory are kind of cool, I guess, if you have a lot of space and want your Sims to look like mad scientists. All of the giant, room-sized equipment that replaces a usually-small thing bothers me.
