It is really confusing for me so I apologise if this is completely wrong based from what has been suggested but here goes. go easy on me Best Regards FLIP FLOP COUNTER by darren.clipson, on Flickr Maybe someone could give me a little nudge in the right direction to set me off again? any advice will be really appreciated, like I said, I am very new to the subject and currently studying multiple subjects so I am a little saturated. I think I need the 8 input common C 7 seg display but again, my understanding is limited and the course notes on displays are non existant! I think my head has become a little confused to be honest. Currently my display was a 4 input 7 seg display that only displayed the number 7. I need a 7 segment display to count 1-5 and then display FULL when count = 5 and Y=1. The circuit I have put together in multisim but I am struggling to understand how to connect the displays. I have the next state tables and K-maps done which gave me the boolean algebra to design the circuit itself based on 3 JK flip flops. I am designing an up/down synchronous counter using JK flip flops. This is my first post so I will start by saying hi! I am currently studying a foundation electronics degree and currently have a basic digital intro module to complete.
